About The Nursery School Committee: This is the First Presbyterian Church Nursery School's board but it is not an independent board as it answers to the Session, the Governing Body of The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York. As a designated committee of Session, it has mandated responsibilities and make-up. The Nursery School Committee is responsible for overseeing all policies that have been approved by Session. It also makes recommendations to Session about general policies and programs such as changes to tuition and salary levels, scholarships, and the solicitation and disbursement of restricted funds. The Nursery School Committee is comprised of members at large, members of the Session, elders and trustees of the First Presbyterian Church.
